Trax House Party

Trax House Party is a revival of the incredible house music/dance parties that took place in Chicago’s Warehouse club back in the late 1980’s-early 1990’s. Created with love by HMH Productions, Trax House Party is a fresh and exciting underground house dance party with DJ’s spinning the hottest vinyl, live musicians rockin’ out, and various performers including insane vocalists and flashy dancers with moves that will make even the biggest wallflower step up and dance.

The next show that Trax House Party will be hosting is on June 23rd, and is taking place at the Circuit Night Club in Chicago, IL. Superstar DJ Keoki will be headlining the event, with a special performance by guest star Screamin’ Rachael!! Party Monster club kid Jo-Jo Baby will also be there, as well as DJ Silk Wolf and party host Julie Mosier. Ticket price for the event is $10, and can be purchased online at TicketAlternative.com.

Axwell mixing Ministry of Sound's 'Clubbers Guide to 2010'

It certainly seems that Swedish House Mafioso Axwell has a lot of love for Australia. In addition to wowing crowds on the recent Stereosonic Festival, he’s also chosen to make Australia his home over the summer, hanging around in Bondi for several months to soak up the sunshine as well as playing a special gig at Pacha on New Years Eve alongside Sebastian Ingrosso. But that’s not all – he’s also been recruited by the Ministry of Sound to mix a disco on the upcoming Clubbers Guide to 2010!

As if that wasn’t enough of a selling point, he’ll be joined by Sydney DJ/producer whiz and MOS favourite Hook N Sling on the second disc, along with third disc that’s been mixed by Anna Lunoe – who takes the honours as the first ever female to mix a compilation for the Australian Ministry of Sound crew!

The Ministry say to expect a tracklisting of super, super fresh of-the-moment tunes, featuring artists like Miami Horror, Chuckie, Claude Vonstroke, Crookers, Sharam Fake Blood, Major Lazer, The Bloody Beetroots, Miike Snow, Bag Raiders and John Dahlback. And with 63 tracks across three CDs, you can expect whole lot more than that still…

Release Yourself comes back to Ministry of Sound on Saturday 7th November for another 7 Hour extravaganza from Roger Sanchez.

Saturday 7th November sees the return of Roger Sanchez's residency, Release Yourself at Ministry of Sound. With endless albums, tours and success under his belt the man who has conquered over two decades in the dance industry, is joint by Filthy Rich and the rest of the Connected family.

If there is one man that has done it all, we can safely say it is Roger Sanchez. From spending the summer packing out the infamous nightclub, Amnesia, with his weekly Tuesday night residency, Release Yourselfto taking over the Amsterdam Dance Event back in October with his Stealth parties, it seems there isn't a country that Sanchez hasn't left his mark on. Returning to his only UK residency this Saturday, the Box prepares for another 7 hour intoxication of effortless dance music. There seems to be no stopping Roger Sanchez, with his new single 2Gether, out for release in late December the party looks set to be the perfect antidote for what lies ahead in 2010 from one of the world's biggest producers.

Leading the proceedings in the Bar, Filthy Rich joins Connected for a night of diverse genre blending house music. Described as 'one of the most promising DJ's and producers of the new generation,' Rich has seen success not only at the club over the last few months but globally, with him touring all over the Far East and Europe. Renown for his relentless attitude towards breaking boundries, Rich fails to stick the rules with him constantly chopping between electro, house, tech-house and a few well-loved classics. Joining him in this storm of talent is Connected's front man Jesse James, Tony Nicholls, James Murray and DJ OZ.

The votes are in and the numbers are being tallied as dance music readies itself for the biggest awards night of the year. We can now reveal that The Top 100 DJs Poll Party powered by Trackitdown.net will take place at Ministry Of Sound on Wednesday 28th October.
2009’s party is the biggest yet - with a line-up to match. Armin van Buuren, David Guetta, Above & Beyond, Sebastian Ingrosso, Sander van Doorn, and Gareth Emery will be taking to the decks, with more names to be announced shortly.
The ceremony itself will be held around midnight. In addition to the award for the No.1 DJ, awards will also be presented to the highest DJ in each genre, the highest climber, and the highest new entry.
Held annually as a charity event, this year’s beneficiary is the Royal National Institute For Deaf People (RNID). Donations will be taken at the door.

Amnesia, Ibiza - Cream Closing Party

Thursday’s once again belong to the mighty Cream, as they return to the award winning ‘Amnesia’ club and kick off the official start to the summer on Thursday 18th June. This year’s line up couldn’t get any bigger, particularly when you have German über jock Paul van Dyk at the helm, who returns as exclusive resident for another season in the Main Room. This is without doubt one of the most successful residencies in clubbing history, and together they have created THE best dancefloor in Ibiza. Other fellow residents include flying Dutchman Ferry Corsten who returns for a 4th season as Exclusive Resident along with Eddie Halliwell. We welcome Sander Van Doorn to the Cream family who debut’s as exclusive resident this summer.
